Coalition confirms plans to abolish Infrastructure Planning Commission

The Infrastructure Planning Commission will be abolished and replaced with an 'efficient and democratically-accountable' system that provides a fast-track process for major infrastructure projects, according to an agreement published today by the Conservative-Liberal Democrat coalition government.
