European Economic and Social Committee appoints Etherington

Sir Stuart Etherington, chief executive of umbrella body the National Council for Voluntary Organisations (NCVO), has been appointed to the European Economic and Social Committee (EcoSoc), an advisory body set up to consult on and influence European civil society policy.
