Appointment at Resolution Foundation

Gavin Kelly has been appointed chief executive of the Resolution Foundation, a think-tank that works to improve the well-being of low earners. Kelly joins from Number 10, where he was deputy chief of staff from 2007. Prior to this role, he was an adviser to the education and communities secretaries. Before working in government, he was director of research at think-tank the Institute for Public Policy Research.
