Highlands crofting village plan moves closer

A community-led plan to take ownership of a Highlands crofting village has moved closer after a bid by the group behind the buyout to become a limited company was approved by the Highlands and Islands Enterprise Community Land Unit. The news means that the Urras Mhangurstaigh group can now apply to the Scottish Government to register interest in the community land buyout. regen.net/news/1032160
