Blears: Media City must provide benefits for local people

Former communities secretary Hazel Blears has told delegates at the Northern Regeneration Summit that Media City in Salford must not end up as a "gated community" with no benefits to local residents but that it must be an inclusive development that provides well-paid jobs for local people.
