Plans to abolish LDA could hit future funding

Plans to abolish the London Development Agency could hit future economic development funding in the capital as the body has £387 million of government debt to repay, a report warns. The report by a London Assembly committee says the LDA will be left owing the Government the cash following a deal to transfer Olympic land assembled by the agency to the Olympic Park Legacy Company. regen.net/news/1034432
