Bis to pay £435m towards cost of winding down RDAs

The Department for Business, Innovation and Skills is to pay more than £400 million towards a cross-Whitehall funding package to fund the soon-to-be-abolished regional development agencies' legal commitments and to pay for redundancy packages for the bodies' staff.
