The Welsh Assembly Government has allocated a grant of £26.7 million to redevelop the town of Merthyr Tydfil and three surrounding villages in the Taff Bargoed Valley, South Wales - £21.7 million of which will be spent in Merthyr Tydfil. regen.net/news/1038906.
