Call for Big Society 'one-stop shops'

Local councils for voluntary services (CVSs), which work to support voluntary organisations in a particular area, should team up with nearby volunteer centres and community foundations to provide a "one-stop shop" for groups wanting to get involved in the Government's Big Society agenda, the head of the largest third sector umbrella body has urged.
