City Buildings wins contract to restore listed building

Scottish construction company City Buildings has won a contract to restore a listed 18th century building in Glasgow that will be used as the headquarters of the organising committee for the city's 2014 Commonwealth Games. The Tontine Building in Monteith Street is owned by City Property Glasgow (Investments), an arm's-length company formed by Glasgow City Council to manage its commercial properties.
