Nine Elms enterprise zone rates 'could fund social infrastructure'

Revenue collected from business rates in a proposed new Nine Elms enterprise zone could be used to pay for 'wider social and community infrastructure' alongside its main role of paying for the extension of the Northern Line to Battersea, under proposals that have been been worked up by the scheme's central, local and London government partners.
