COMMUNITY RENEWAL BRIEF: Charitable organisation to be expanded

A charitable organisation based in the west end of Newcastle is to be expanded city-wide after its success in helping 175 local people into work. The Wise Group, which attempts to find innovative solutions to employment problems, was initially set up with funding from regional development agency One North East through the Single Regeneration Budget programme Newcastle into Work.
