PHYSICAL REGENERATION BRIEF: GVA Grimley appointed

Consultant GVA Grimley has been appointed to prepare a masterplan for Bedford town centre. A number of development opportunities have already been identified and works to extend pedestrian priority areas are already under way. The masterplanning process is expected to take nine months. The scheme is being undertaken by Bedford Borough Council, national regeneration agency English Partnerships and the East of England Development Agency.
