ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT BRIEF: Innovation centre to launch in Bedford

An innovation centre is to be launched in Bedford to support new high-tech firms, it emerged this week. Supported with funding from the East of England Development Agency, the scheme aims to nurture up to 100 small to medium-sized ICT, medical and engineering companies. The building is expected to be completed by the end of 2004.
