STOP PRESS: Government publishes two documents

The Government this week published two documents setting out how its proposals to reform the planning system will benefit local people. From summer next year councils will have to prepare local development frameworks identifying where future development might take place. A Guide to Procedures explains how the new system will involve local people, while Creating Local Development Frameworks advises authorities how the new frameworks should be prepared.
