PHYSICAL REGENERATION NEWS BRIEF: Plans unveiled for waterfront site in Runcorn

Plans to redevelop a brownfield waterfront site in Runcorn have been unveiled by developer Peel Holdings. The mixed-use development plan, drawn up by architect Broadway Malyan, includes 470 apartments, restaurants and bars. The site currently has workshop and maintenance facilities for the Manchester Ship Canal and the new plans have been submitted as an outline planning application to Halton Borough Council.
