PHYSICAL REGENERATION NEWS BRIEF: One of UK's most northerly piers to get revamp

One of the UK's most northerly piers is to get a revamp. A £851,000 package for Voe Pier in the Shetland Islands has been put together by the European Regional Development Fund, Shetland Islands Council, Voe Pier Trust and economic development agencies Shetland Enterprise, and Highlands and Islands Enterprise. The B-listed pier is to be rebuilt and enlarged to look as similar to the existing structure as possible.
