OPINION: Brownfield has become bleak moor for ODPM

National regeneration agency English Partnerships' new report for the ODPM on brownfield land is one of those documents that tells you what you vaguely thought you already knew, but needed to prove. Which is: there's a lot of brownfield land about, but much of it won't get regenerated in a hurry, or ever, unless someone comes up with huge dollops of money. And that someone, of course, is the ODPM.
