Newcastle councillors this week endorsed a draft prospectus for the Newcastle-Gateshead housing market renewal pathfinder. The draft will now be presented to the ODPM and public sector watchdog the Audit Commission for feedback, with a final submission expected shortly after. The pathfinder is one of nine that will share £500 million of government funding over the next three years.
