NEWS BRIEF: Peabody Trust appoints executive

Housing association the Peabody Trust has announced the appointment of a new chief executive. Stephen Howlett joins from housing association group Amicus Group, where he is chief executive. He replaces Richard McCarthy, who left last month. Howlett will take up his appointment in early March 2004.
