COMMUNITY RENEWAL BRIEF: Jowell launches first of plaques

Culture secretary Tessa Jowell last week launched the first of thousands of blue plaques to recognise the impact that the National Lottery has had on communities across the UK. The first 10,000 plaques, sponsored by lottery operator Camelot, will be distributed to lottery-funded projects across Britain for the 10th anniversary of the National Lottery in November next year.
