COMMUNITY RENEWAL NEWS BRIEF: Three-year project funded by grant

A three-year project funded by a New Opportunities Fund grant is to look at ways to reduce health inequalities in the North-West. A regional health and physical activity coordinator will be appointed to help promote partnership working at local level, with local authorities, strategic health authorities and primary care trusts working together to encourage people to take up a more active lifestyle.
