PHYSICAL REGENERATION NEWS BRIEF: Peterborough CC expects approval of its URC next March

Peterborough City Council expects the ODPM to approve its urban regeneration company (URC) next March. The URC, which could become the first in the east of England, would manage the multi-million pound transformation of Peterborough city centre. It is expected that the private sector will lead the URC, with the council having no more than 20 per cent of the voting rights.
