MOVES: Scedu chair stands down

The voluntary chair and director of Sheffield's community enterprise agency Scedu has stood down. The resignation of Mike West, a co-founder of Scedu, coincides with his forthcoming retirement from the directorship of the Open Forum for Economic Regeneration. West, a former industrial chaplain, helped set up Scedu in 1995. Scedu now encompasses six different organisations including South Yorkshire Key Fund which has distributed more than £11 million in grants over the last 12 months.
