Opinion: The same story on self-esteem

When I saw the headline 'Self-esteem highest in southern England' in the magazine a fortnight ago (Regeneration & Renewal, 6 August, p2), my initial response was: "No surprise there then." I changed my mind when I read what think-tank Demos was claiming in its extraordinarily-named report The Self-Esteem Society. What a load of malarkey.
