Physical regeneration news in brief: Glasgow City Council has given the go-ahead

Glasgow City Council has given the go-ahead for detailed proposals to be drawn up for the city's parks. As the first stage in the comprehensive redevelopment proposals, the council is hoping to form partnerships with private businesses to lease or franchise facilities for cafes and restaurants, as well as facilities for boating, garden centres and open-air events.
