Community renewal news brief: Schools and communities in Wales share lottery cash

Seven schools and communities in Wales will share half a million pounds of lottery cash to develop sports facilities, the Big Lottery Fund has announced. Schools in Gwynedd, Denbigh and Wrexham will share more than £300,000 while a further three awards totalling £160,000 have been allocated to schools in Cardiff, Caerphilly and Torfaen. The funding forms part of the £50 million New Opportunities for PE and Sport programme.
