Proposals for a 24-storey residential tower and student blocks in Leicester should be refused planning permission, according to the Government's architectural adviser. The Commission for Architecture and the Built Environment is concerned that the Granby Halls scheme contains too much accommodation for the site. It also raised concerns about proposals for Leicester Tigers' mixed-use stadium proposals in the city.
