Residents of Lilleshall in Shropshire and Broughton in Hampshire are to take part in a pilot project to find out their views on what they like best about their local landscape. The project, organised by the Campaign to Protect Rural England and financed by the Heritage Lottery Fund, aims to draw up community landscape character statements intended to influence decisions about the future of the countryside.
