A project intended to tackle the fear of crime, anti-social behaviour and local environment problems in North Ormesby has received £600,000 from the Government Office for the North-East, the housing group behind the scheme announced last week. The Tees Valley Housing Group said the pilot will undertake an alley-gating scheme for 800 properties.
