News briefs: Environment Agency publishes a map of flood risk

The Environment Agency published a map of flood risk across England and Wales this week. It shows that 100,000 fewer properties fall within the area - with a one in 100 chance of flooding from rivers, or a one in 200 chance of flooding from the sea - than previously thought.
