News briefs: Housing minister launches a home-finding service
8 October 2004
Housing minister Keith Hill this week launched a home-finding service for tenants in Stoke-on-Trent. Stoke-on-Trent City Council said Homeline - the city's choice-based lettings system - allows tenants to choose the home they want to live in, rather than having one chosen for them. The service brings together a range of landlords under one central scheme, including the city council, several housing associations and accredited private landlords.
