Suburbs may be focus of future regeneration

The focus of regeneration will in the future switch from inner-city areas to the suburbs, according to a report that predicts what Britain will be like in 20 years' time. The report, published last week by Building Futures - a joint initiative between government advisory body the Commission for Architecture and the Built Environment (Cabe) and the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) - claims that the revival of the cores of cities "will continue apace".
