Young people benefit from Home Office-funded social project

More than 50,000 young people have benefited from the Home Office-funded social inclusion project Positive Futures since its inception in 2000, figures from research group Mori show. The figures show that almost 19,000 young people are currently involved in the scheme, of which 1,755 have shown signs of doing better at school and 1,308 have joined a sports team.
