Japanese chemicals firms to visit North-East

Ten Japanese chemicals firms are to visit the North-East next week with the aim of forging business opportunities in the region. The visit, organised by regional development agency One North East, is intended to prove that the region's supply chain and infrastructure are an attractive proposition for Japanese firms looking to expand into the UK market. The visitors will have the chance to visit 35 local firms.
