Tourism in North Wales receives boost

Tourism in North Wales received a boost last week when the Welsh Assembly Government committed £3 million to improvements at the summit of Snowdon. The Snowdonia National Park Authority plans to make major improvements in a bid to attract more people to the summit, which is visited by more than 350,000 people a year.
