Work set to begin on sports facility in Bolton

Work is set to begin on a £1.7 million sports and community facility in Bolton. The scheme in Leverhulme Park will include an indoor athletics track and other sports facilities as well as local healthcare services and meeting rooms. Funded by national sports development agency Sport England and East Bolton Regeneration, the facility will also incorporate areas for indoor bowls, cricket and other sports, a martial arts room, dance studio and fitness suite.
