Site redevelopment in St Helens town centre given go-ahead

A £15 million project to redevelop a site in St Helens town centre was given the go-ahead this week by the council's planning committee. The committee approved an application by Grantmaster Developments for a leisure complex, including a bowling alley, nightclub, restaurants, a hotel, retail units and apartments.
