Health and leisure proposals

Plans for a joint health and leisure centre in Burnley town centre have been unveiled by Burnley Borough Council. The project is a joint venture between the council and Burnley, Pendle and Rossendale Primary Care Trust (PCT), with work set to begin on the centre (see visualisation, above) in December. Burnley, Pendle and Rossendale PCT has set up a patient-public user group to influence the design and transport issues around the new building.
