Unemployed Stockport people take up supermarket jobs

More than 100 unemployed Stockport people will take up supermarket jobs this month following an intensive training scheme. Trainees on the eight-week training programme run by Tesco's Stockport Regeneration Partnership included the long-term unemployed, disabled people, single parents or parents returning to work after having a family, Of the 120 traineees that started the programme, 108 completed it.
