Projects approved aimed at rehabilitating prisoners

The Department of Trade and Industry's Small Business Service (SBS) has approved £1.8 million funding for two projects aimed at rehabilitating prisoners. The funding - from the SBS's Phoenix Fund - will support the Business in Prisons and In Credit initiatives, designed to give offenders and recently released ex-offenders the chance to develop enterprise skills.
