Birmingham City Council wins international award

Birmingham City Council has won a prestigious international award for the regeneration of its city centre based on the Bullring and Brindley Place developments. New York-based regeneration agency the Urban Land Institute awarded Birmingham the Award for Excellence, the first time the award has been received by a whole city, describing the scheme as "a model of regeneration".
