Former chief exec at BT chosen for task force

The former chief executive of BT's research division has been chosen to lead a task force which aims to revolutionise the way small businesses turn research and innovation into products. Stewart Davies is to chair the East of England Science and Industry Council in its formative stage. The council will bring together universities, the private sector and groups such as the East of England Development Agency, in order to encourage small and medium-sized firms to make use of the region's research and development resources.
