Building project in Birmingham gets planning permission

Planning permission was granted last week for a building project aimed at helping disadvantaged youngsters to design and build their own training and development centre. The Shard End Community Building project in Birmingham has been devised by charity the Prince's Foundation for the Built Environment. The building will constructed with the active involvement of local young people and once completed will deliver a range of education and training services.
