ASBOs highly successful says investigation

Anti-social behaviour orders (ASBOs) have been highly successful in keeping beggars off the streets and helping them to change their lifestyles, according to an investigation by Leeds City Council. It showed that 15 beggars in Leeds who were subject to ASBOs in August had since found somewhere to live and nine had joined drug rehabilitation programmes.
