Council backs Newham plans
Plans for an office and residential scheme overlooking the proposed Olympic stadium site in east London were approved last week. Newham Council awarded consent to the development, which will comprise an 18-storey framed tower, together with one four-storey and one eight-storey building. The scheme, a joint venture between developer Telford Homes and the Royal Bank of Scotland, will offer retail and residential units, of which 35 per cent will be affordable.
