11,000 sq metres etail space will be built in Dagenham

Two thousand homes and 11,000 sq metres of retail space will be built in south Dagenham as part of the Thames Gateway development. The scheme, a joint venture between the London Development Agency and financial firm Axa Sun Life, is centred on a 16ha site comprising the Merrielands Retail Park and the former Ford works.
