Public consultation launched this week

A public consultation was launched this week on new planning rules aimed at preventing unauthorised developments by travellers and gypsies. The ODPM launched the consultation on temporary stop notices, which would enable councils to stop an unauthorised site from growing and require the removal of caravans. The consultation ends on 26 January. For details, visit www.odpm.gov.uk.
