New Deal for Communities programme wins backing of residents

A south London New Deal for Communities programme has won the backing of its residents to undertake the second phase of improvements to their homes. A consultation exercise for Aylesbury NDC revealed that around 90 per cent of residents in Chartridge and Bradenham were behind the proposals to redevelop the low-rise blocks in the south-west of the estate.
