Working for racial harmony
A workshop designed to promote greater understanding and appreciation of South Asian cultural traditions among young people on a white majority population estate in Yorkshire took place this week. South Asian artist Avtar Singh Lota appeared in traditional dress and demonstrated classical and folk music on the dilruba - a four-stringed instrument played with a bow.
